Air Conditioning Fan Trouble

The air conditioning fan on my daughters 05 GT only works on speed select 4, no fan on selections 1, 2 or 3. Any ideas on what the problem is likely to be?

Some cars have a little circuit board with some resistors on it that give you those lower speeds.

More than likely the blower motor resistor has failed
