Almost done Whipple install - one question

This last picture is the question. If you look closely, the rubber o-ring behind the water pump pulley flange is damaged. Is this a big deal? It had obviously been like this for awhile but I was unaware until I removed the steeda pulley.

theres no water in the snout. your fine
