my car has 15000 miles and the previous owner has always ran pennzoil full synthetic but i thought of switching to amsoil. Any suggestions ?

You bought DKS's car?

Amsoil is fine just go with the recommended weight.

I run Mobil 1 Full Synthetic at ~$22-$24 bucks for 5 Qt jug from Walmart.

yep bought his car i love it its awsome but just wanting some feed back on the amsoil thanks for the help

No need to change brands. Just keep using what DKS was using. You can buy the Penzoil at Wally World too in the 5 quart jugs.

The Amsoil website recommends 0w20 as the preferred weight. The website breaks down flash and fire points, viscosity at different temps, and the ball bearing wear test.

Thats what mine is using...30k miles. Now they have a "signature series" 0W-20 with more protection, will be going that way next oil change.
