Ok guys I know you are tired of hearing this but the Billet Specialties 15" wheels for our car will not be out until March 2009. I really believe this will happen as the guys there are racers and the business owner is also a Mustang owner. I offered to lend my car to help with fitment but they assured me that when they put them up for sale they will fit.

I talked to him about a group buy and they would be willing to do that once the wheels are ready. FWIW, I really like the looks of these and since you can run them on the street we would not need to swap wheels at the track.

I will drive over there in February to see what up and will let you guys know.

I'm not sure I want to run slicks and front runners on the street. :roflmao:

But seriously, if these things look good and are priced right, I might get a set just for street use. I'd love to run 15s on the street everyday. :thumb:

I was thinking they were slightly cheaper than the Weld Draglites which are $247.

I believe that Billet Specialties can make a good set of wheels for the S197.
The only problem is that if they don't hit their mark in March when 1/2 the continent is already racing and the other 1/2 of the continent is about to begin there will be a lot of people out of luck.

Next season I will be running a proper set of rears whether it's Bogarts, Billet Specialties, or Holeshots and I will want them on the car for April 1st.

All well and good on these wheels but some of us start testing in February and the race season starts the first of March. I'll be passing that little bit of info along to them at SEMA and PRI.

I like the look of the Pro Stars and thinking about ordering a set for front and back and see if I can get them to work on my car also. I just like the way this guys car sits with them.

yeah they look good and I like the way the fronts look on your car also.

You got the 15x3.5 with a 1.75" back spacing and a 3/8" spacer? Correct?

Thanks again to black05 for pointing me in the direction of the jeg's wheels. They showed up today. Tires will be here tomorrow. I am using an open ended lugnut and just did some measurements and I am getting 6 1/4 turns of threads with these lug nuts. It's just shy of 1/2" of threads in the lug nut. I think this will be fine for track duty. I do think I will put longer studs in just to be sure down the road.

What do you guys think ??

Does anyone have any idea who's car this is? I couldnt get my welds to sit under the car like that in the back at all? They stuck out like 1 to 2 inches. Maybe the car is narrowed abit? Some more info would be great if anyone knows.
