I like the look of the Pro Stars and thinking about ordering a set for front and back and see if I can get them to work on my car also. I just like the way this guys car sits with them.

i got ahold of this guy last night this is what he told me

Its a pretty simple process. There is no grinding in the front, all it is is a set of spacers i cant remember the width ill get back to you on that. Now for the rear you have to grind down the front face of the caliper no spacer needed. The rears are 15x8 with 5.5 back spacing and the fronts i used were 15x4 with 1.75 back spacing. I think you might be able to fit a 15x10 with 6.5 backspacing for the rear for more tire! i bought the wheels from Jegs pretty cheap!

aren't the jegs wheels the same as the pro-stars ? if so id be willing to give it a shot if all else fails i'll ship em back lol

Sounds like these would bolt right up on my car since the calipers have already been ground down so the 14" brake kit would clear my wheels. I would have to loose the big brake kit and put my fac size power slot rotors back on though.

With GT500 front brakes are any of these wheels even a option?

The front requires a 3/8" spacer. I've been looking at these myself, for the front, just to pull some weight off the front for now. That'll come out to around $400 to lose quite a bit of weight up front.

Anyone know of another solution besides grinding the brakes on the rear? And other calipers that'll fit?

a 15x10 will work using the same grinding technique as the guy did with the 15x8s. the perfect solution if you want 15x4s in the front and 15x10s in the rear. 15x4 with 1.75 backspacing and a 3/8" spacer for the front with Mickey Thompson 27.5x4.5-15 ET Fronts (they look the best) and 15x10 with 6.5 backspacing for the rears with a 28" tall tire and whatever width you desire. Im going to run the ET Street 28" tall, but Im not sure on the width yet. For the rears you will either have to run a very small spacer 1/8" - 1/4" inch or grind the caliper down like the guy stated above. For the rears you have the choice of 15x8s w/ 5.5 backspacing or 15x10s w/ 6.5 backspacing (they both have the same offset...25.4). The jegs wheels are a great choice and that is what I am going with. Ive done tons of research on this and bought and returned numerous wheels and tires to Jegs in order to get this perfect solution and this is the answer. Hope this helps.
