So with just a 1/8" or 1/4" spacer, you do not need to grind the rears? If that's the case, why aren't more people running these?

I am pretty sure you can run a 15x10 with 7.5" backspace.....with a little spacer it would work....

yea but they dont make a 10" with 7.5 bs thats the prob lol the only 1's that have them the drop center is too small , thats why the billet specialtys , draglites , ect. wont work

What wheels exactly are we talking about?? I missed something...

I have a set of Draglite's here that are 15x10 with a 7.5" backspace, I might try those...

i know you guys are talking about 28" tall tires....that's a pretty tall tire for a n/a car with 4.10 gears imo...it seems a 27" tall tire would keep your car a little more able to use the 4.10's if that's what you're running imho. i haven't read the whole thread, perhaps i'm missing something

i know the guys with tons of hp would probably desire the taller tire. i'm looking at perhaps using the 15x8's with 255/60/15

... For the rears you have the choice of 15x8s w/ 5.5 backspacing or 15x10s w/ 6.5 backspacing (they both have the same offset...25.4).
Just so you know, a 15x10 w/6.5 bs will stick out of the fenderwell noticably. I had 15x9 XPs with 5.5" bs (which has the same outside rim configuration as a 15x10, 6.5bs), and I did get a little rubbing on the right tire from the fender lip. My current Bogarts are 15x9.75, w/7.25" bs and they work much better. So I agree with the others that a 15x10 would be best with a 7.5" bs (assuming the wheel design will clear the calipers, and the lug studs are long enough).

well wtf you waiting for lol , or ship them fuckers to me i'll hack up my brakes lol

and the main reason for me going with a 28" tire is for more " wrinklewall " and to cut down my 3.90 gears it would make them more less a 3.73 or so , right now with the power i think i should make i'll be pretty close to running out of gear with my 26" tires could be wrong but hey bigger the better huh lol

but in your case rijo id run a 26 or 27" to keep your gearing high with those 4.10's while your n/a

and the more i think of it the more i think they should fit no prob les said he had a 27" tire on his and it was lowered like 2 " or some shit so stock with the 28" should be fine

don are those 7.25 before the spacer is added or after ? i know they have spacers welded to the inside but never checked im guessing after and you wouldn't happen to have some pics to show how far they stick out , well under lol u get what i mean im trying to decide on 10's i got a set of 8" on the way already but if i could get those 10's to fit that would kick ass

what height tire did you run on those xp's ?

I'm assuming the 7.25 includes the integral spacer. I ran a 28x10.50-15 on the XPs.

On the Mickey Thompson website thay show ET Street 28x11.5x15 for an 8" rim. They should work pretty well with the Jegs 15x8's.

I don't know if this helps, but my 17 X 9 Greg Welds have a 6.5" BS.
