so I have been reading threads for a few days and tried stuff, but now I'm out of ideas.

I took off the TB and cleaned it thoroughly, did not fix the issue. Then I replaced the TPS, still no go. At this point I would take it to the dealer but i'm afraid to drive it at 800rpm...

The car drove for about two weeks since I got it back, maybe 3, and this started. I got into the car one morning and there was the infamous wrench light.

help is appreciated.

Stepper motor is most likely culprit.

Did it happen out of the blue? Ran good forever and then one day this started?

I had my blower removed professionally and the car started throwing cam sensor code since hour 1. We did some troubleshooting but it stayed. It was suggested to me that I take to to a dealer for a diagnostic and then when they tell me the probelm I take it back to the tuner shop. I drove around on a base tune for about 3 weeks. I only drive to work 2-3 times a month and work from home the rest. One day I get in the car in the morning and this happens out of "nowhere'. I did put maybe 300 miles on the car in the 3 weeks i had it since the blower was pulled and clutch/flywheel swapped...

ok, so I found a gt500 TB laying around at home, but it's been so long since i did research on it that I no longer remember what I need to get it going. The CL racer is definitely too small to fit on it. I'm guessing that my best bet is to buy a stock TB...

I've disconnected and reconnected the MAF plug multiple times between TB cleanings (i cleaned it twice) and one just replugging all plugs that deal with TB and intake.

Good point though, it could be a bad plug maybe, or bad MAF? =/ id ont know

Does the GT500 TB have electronics on it?

If so, swap the stepper motor and see if that fixes it

So the history is that a blower was removed and a new tune was installed. Is that correct? Was anything else done besides taking the blower off? What is the P2014 code? Is it for the intake manifold cmcv? Sorry but I don't have the codes memorized.

If it's for the cmcv it could be a simple tune issue like the tuner didn't turn the cmcv switch back on in the tune. It could also be that it's turned on but not plugged in. It could be turned on but the imrc tables weren't restored to stock. It could also be that the mechanism itself is blocked. It's located in the back of the intake manifold and is quite easy to be interfered with by hoses or the wire harness.

So with all of that said did you install a stock intake manifold with the cmcv intact? If not do you have delete plates installed?

Yeah, why are you messing with the throttle body? That code is for your charge motion plate sensor. You said you had the blower removed. What kind of blower and what kind of manifold? Your sit says FRPP manifold. I don't think that has plates so you need to turn that shit off in the tune. Quit messing with the TB.

hey, I typoed the code.
It's p2104 which is forced idle.
The common culprits per search ara dirty TB, TPS, and entire TB.

I will try STK's suggestion tonight. thanks guys
