Pm'd the member on another forum but looks like he sold his Mustang for another vehicle and I'm not really expecting a response from seeing when he was last online.
Any help would be great!
Thanks, Mike

NOOOO haha I find a rim I love and now hear they don't fit well:chainsaw:

I"ll have to look up the offset's our cars can take with a 10" rim. Quick google and looks like you are correct on the model. Now to find out if they really are going to be a problem!

Thank you sir

I wanted them for my car too but they stick out past the wheel wells just a hair if I remember correctly. so you have to go "hella flush" with narrower tires. but I could be wrong.

I think one guy shaved the back of the mounting block to correct the offset.

They actually do fit our cars depending on what you consider a proper "fit". I personally think they look pretty damn good on the car.

Scroll through the thread and when he swapped the tires to a 275/35/20 they look even better. He's also on these forums too under the same name.

Stretched tires so they can compensate for improper offset is not proper fitment.

That's why I said whatever proper fitment is to you. Its different for everybody. You'll also notice later in that thread he swapped to a bigger tire and still had no rubbing issues. Its literally just personal preference.

Proper fitment means you don’t have to stretch skinny tires on wheels that stick out past the wheel wells.

That's called “stanced” which is not proper fitment. I get that some people like that. However those wheels do not have the correct offset to properly fit a mustang.

You need offset in the 43 to 45 range for a 10" wheel to fit all four corners. If you just want to fit the rear you have a little more leeway to move the wheel inboard

You know I've followed his threads before when he was going through the 2011+ front end conversion but never noticed the wheels as something I liked lol
I've seen a few other members here with the 18x10's and they look great

these being a 25 offset, I imagine I'll get some rubbing then? the plan is to run 285/40/18's square

I found this thread and they don't appear to poke out much http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110889&highlight=xxr+521&page=2

OP's photo shows large fender flares to accomodate those offsets. That's why they fit that car.
