so speed inc called me saying that the bar arrived but is not painted. I emailed MM and they told me that they dont ship painted bars because of potential shipping damage.

I talked to them twice and placed my order the second time. I cant recall if we discussed paint in the second call, so I'm not really blaming them completely, but damn... I guess I'm going to run it unpainted, but covered with padding...

I think it says that on the site somewhere - I thought I remember reading that. No Big Deal though - Check out MattD's thread - The cages are pretty easy to rattle-can in the color of your choice, and it comes out great since its not a large surface area.
