I am so glad my old man was smart enough to move south when I was a baby.

Only got down into the 30s here last night and my car is tucked away in her usual parking spot in the garage, nice and toasty. Even without heat it's only about 58 in there according to the car's 'outside temp' display.

Mine stayed tucked safely in the garage for the snow, we got lucky in western NC. 5-6 inches of snow/sleet. Eastern NC got a ton of freezing rain and there were tons of trees and lines down.

All of our customers cars (in for service) were stored inside.

We may not be open by tomorrow since at this point DOT won't be able to get to our neighborhoods until tomorrow afternoon.

^^^ yeah, the heater was working waaaay too well in the Jeep grand Cherokee...I had to open up the sunroof to let some fresh air in!

We got zero snow this time.
At one point the prediction was 5-8" then slowly it all went away and were left with "a trace - 1 inch"
We ended up with nothing but disappointment.
Not that we would've wanted 2-3' of it, but a few inches would've been nice.
