As the title says, does anyone remember this thread?
http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59158

I am sure a ton of people do. Due to alot of people calling BS on this guy. Hell even I thought something was fishy... Well as mentioned in one of my posts in his thread I said that I would investigate since I live in the same city as him. Well, What do you know guys? I ran into him when I noticed a very clean mustang! I didnt realize it would be him but I just wanted to say what a nice car he had.

his mustang!

Right away he told me that he was the guy on this forum saying his mustang blew at 6k miles and he began to show me actual proof and insisted that I post a thread for him. He let me take pictures of the paper work of the new motor being warrantied. HE did say the tune was from evolution from PA. Although there was no proof of his tune being from Evolution from PA.

Remember guys:
"Dont shoot the messenger "

Here is the paper work that he let me take a picture kinda blurry but hopefully it can be made out though.

Just thought you all would of liked to know. By the way his mustang is quick and made me wish I could afford one. Jesse was an awesome guy to talk to unlike some other guys I have talked to before.

This should get interesting with him saying his bad tune was from Evolution Performance in Pa. John Lund is widely known as one of the best tuners on the planet. I hate to see stuff like this happen.

Maybe it was tuned by John. Maybe the owner of the car put 87 octane fuel in it and when it went into detonation, he stayed in the throttle and blew it up. We will probably never know the truth.

Well my concern isnt about evolution because i will never get a tune from them because i dont live anywhere near there. :(

On the other note. Im concern about everyone who called bs that it didnt blow at 6k. Even i called bs. He did say that the tune wasnt a dyno tune. I was just wondering what everyone thought about since he got it all warrentied.

Dude, are you referring to the Evo in Texas or what? It was made very clear that it was NOT a Jon Lund tune or from Evolution in PA. You should also be quite clear when you make posts about this. The following isn't directed at you. It's a general opinion.

I still say that the guy is a fucking idiot. Loading ANY tune, from ANYONE, and then racing on it is pure stupidity. You have to set the idle for the car with the new tune and then drive around on it a bit before risking it at the track.

I've even had a tune, not a Lund tune, but from another vendor on this site, that had I of gone straight to drag racing with it, I could have damaged my engine. When will people understand that if you don't know shit about cars, then don't fucking mod the cars?! How else can you tell when something isn't right? Like no tuner ever made a mistake? Jeez.

That may need to be more widespread. I have read about people trying different tunes while at the track to see if they made a difference as well as at on a dyno, like make a pull, change tune, then immedaitely make another pull.
