I'm going with a 3" one piece driveshaft. I have a manual GT with a saleen short shifter. I need a safety loop that bolts-in directly. I like the CHE put don't want any drilling. The car is resting on the Saleen springs/struts so I think thats about 1.25" lower.

Has anyone used the Comp Engineering Safety Loop? If not, what other brands would fit? From what I read, the BMR requires some modification of the shifter. I need a direct bolt-in. Comp Engineering is the only one I haven't seen much about. All feedback appreciated.

I have the BMR loop and the B&M short throw shifter and they're not even close to each other to cause any interference. I don't know what the Saleen short throw is like but the only one that I have heard of (doesn't mean there isn't others) that have issues is the MGW.

I have one on my 05 mustang v6 w/tr3650 swap. I'm running a coast 4in. aluminum DS, billet hurst STS and I'm not lowered; no clearance issues at all. I think you should be fine with a 3in. DS being that you are lowered.

Hmm. I called Metco and they claim theirs will fit with no problem at all. The guy told me he knows for a fact it'll fit with my DS. I think I may go with Metco. Lethal wasn't very encouraging with Comp Eng, mostly because they don't sell many.

And sorry, I have a 3.5" DS, not that it matters that much
