im going to be ordering some big and skinnies. probboly 17x4.5 and 15x10. mostly for shows. seeing how i will be bouncing back from street look to drag look at different shows. would a 28/15-10 be too big of a tire for the rear? would it rub?

i think you should be fine. If its just for show then you shouldnt be going over many hard bumps. I run a 28 in slick at the track on a pro kit which is 1.5 in drop compared to your 2 in. There should be enough room.

with my suspension set pretty soft i lauch hard an my 26 slicks come close but dont ever touch. i think i could get away with 27's but i like the 26's.... 28's would be too tall if your gonna be racing. they will probably sit in there and drive around but any movement of the rear suspension will probably put them in the fender

I have 325/50/15 MT drag radials with stock springs...NEVER even come close to rubbing. My front rims are 17x4.5 racestar(Greg Weld) and rears are 15x10 w 7.5" back spacing Race Star. FIT really well!!!! Hoosier Prostreet skinny fron radials handle really well also. NO brake massaging...etc.
