Shut the fuck up Kuro.

This back and forth is between all of you guys, but don't fucking provoke this guy, then whine if he lashes back out.

You've been allowed to say your piece, why wouldn't he?

Jesus fucking Christ!

:sigh1:

What if Hollywood had not gotten that part. Say someone else got it, put it on their car, then decided they didn't like it. They decide to sell it for $90 shipped to help cover the cost of the new piece they're gonna buy to replace it. Is that a slap in the face?

It's the same result. I don't think either one is wrong. If you don't like the motives of a particular seller, don't buy from them. That doesn't make them wrong.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, but I still think it is a slap on the face to anyone who was interested in it. I know I might have been a bit pissed knowing it would cost me $90 for something I could have got for free. As others said, there is such a thing as pay it forward. Or at the very least, charge only the shipping if local pick up was not available.

I just gave my old 3.55 R&P to a buddy for his Fox. If he decided not to use it and went and sold it, I think that is a slap on the face as well. The least he could do IMO is treat me to a dinner or some shit since he is profiting from my generosity.

Back to some people getting very angry I'll throw in my 2 cents. HOLYWD (and another forum member) has personally saved me at least $1,000 close to 2,000 in labor fees because I needed the help, and am new to Mustangs. He was always nice, and seems to me to be a great guy all around.

If I sold a part to him and was happy with whatever amount I received and he decided to sell it x amount more, I'm happy, he's happy, and whomever bought the part is happy as well.

And I'll be the first to say that he puts a ridiculous amount of stuff on his car, keeps some, takes some off, tries out new things until he gets what he wants. Is it a crime that he finds good deals, then can find a buyer for his parts when he decides that wheel set number 13 doesn't look as good as some other set? I don't think so...

I'm happy to call Caleb a friend of mine, and I know he has always helped me out when I needed it. Parts wise, labor wise, and anything else wise.

Come on. If there's nothing wrong with it, how can it be a slap in the face? Unless you believe a slap in the face is not wrong? You're being illogical.

I'm all for paying it forward. I also believe I'm the one that gets to choose when I pay it forward or when I don't. No one can mandate that to me in a free capitalist society. I also don't expect others to do act selflessly with me.

The way I look at it, if I get a good deal, I could care less what the seller pays for something. If I can get more value for my money somewhere else, I'll do that.

Just thought I would add this in since we're all bashing each other:
I posted my racestar wheels/tires for sale for $1200. Holywd pm'd me asking if I would trade for his CS66 wheels, which he had listed for $850, and apparently bought for $600. I told him I would need tires as well. Later he posts MRR Wheels for sale and I asked if he would trade, plus I would include some cash if necessary. He said he wasn't interested because they wouldn't clear his brembo's. Sounds to me like he wasn't interested because he couldn't turn enough profit on them.

Its not illogical because it is not wrong from any legal or true moral standpoint. Its a slap in the face to me because I choose not agree with it. Just because I think its not cool to do it, doesn't make it wrong. Get what I'm saying?
