IF the the M5/parked car scenario actually happened in real life, i'd probably accellerate with him for 60 feet to show him i could hang, then change lanes to allow him to get over. It's nothing that any of you have never done before. When you guys made mods to your cars, you all wanted to know what you were "on par with." That's all i'm looking for really. I'm not an asshole driver, and i'm not a street racer.

I stand behind what I said. Because you just don't get it. Your whole statement above is contradictory. In that scenario, you DON'T race him at all. It's not safe. And what's worse, is you don't even realize it.

I dont think accellerating with a guy thru first gear then letting him over when there's half a football field to that hypothetical parked car is particularly dangerous, thats correct, so you got me there. I personally think you're taking the "high road" is a bit extreme and not reality, but that's probably just me.
