Keep in mind that overfilling can be a messy proposition. For both the differential and the man trans. And I mean not just during the process of filling and maybe spilling a little, but after the fact, in operation, especially when you're tracking the car (hi temps). Ask me how I know. I've had knuckleheads overfill both when changing the fluid(s). Serves me right for not doing it myself I guess.

Hence why I put the Ford Racing diff cover on my car, if you saw my earlier post in this thread. Way easier to fill to the proper level without over filling and making a mess.

Like Mountain, I went with a Boss/GT500 diff cover on my 2010 and it solved my problems. Put a plug in the axle where the vent was on the tube, and just had the vent up on top of the diff cover. Even at tracks with LONG corners, I never saw any leaks from that point on. Will do the same on the 2014 I just ordered on Saturday and see how that goes :).

I just had the frr diff cover removed for the Whiteline watts link. I really liked the frr diff cover because of the heat sinks it has on it. Oh we'll it's a trade off. Lose some cooling aspects of the frr diff for suspension improvements that come with the WL watts.
