Not 3-4 but .3 to .4 .I am going to say your bama tune was way off. N/A I just don't see that much of a variance between a good email tune and a dyno tune.

The dip just looks weird to me, like something isn't right either with the tune or the car. Especially because at 3000RPM, my car noticeably starts to pick up on the power.

Maybe Chris can explain.

I have their(BAMA) tune and as far as drivability, it's a tune that is hard to beat and I've had other email tunes too and they SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've datalogged my tune and sent it directly to Chris Rose and he reviewed it and assured me it was spot on. I'll wait for Chris' input.

He assured me mine was "spot on" as well. Pretty sure he used those exact words on the phone too lol...

You cant know if a tune is spot on without verifying it with datalogs and AF readings.

so I was told that 1* or less of knock is acceptable. while I trust the source of this what are other opinions?

I've seen that dip on so many email tuned 5.0s. That dip is basically the tuner commanding to much timing to quickly. So the car will knock and retard the timing.

If you datalog it, I guarantee you'll see knock in that range.

Why would 5.0's have the same dip as this guys 4.6?

because engines in general all function similarly. Drastic dips like that are almost always attributed to knock. When you see itnin a 5.0 though its almost always after 4800 rpm.

The OP's dip is probably from the delete plate's though.

Dyno issue possibly then. I dont see how 3 cars would have the same dip on the same dyno without it being a dyno issue.

have them log for KR, my money is on that. I've never seen a steep drop like that unless the AF fell flat on its face or it was KR.

I had mine dyno'd on two different dynos not including the one the OP used...both had the exact same dip...A/F didnt fluctuate at all....when datalogging my Actual Cam Angle (VCT) it jumped from 0 to 18* right at the dip...thats what the problem is...I did over 20 different datalogs and tune adjustments and nothing corrected it...Chris thought it had to be mechanical in the Cam Phasers because he could not figure a way to fix it in the tune...like I said in previous post though its probably pretty hard to get it perfect when something like this is happening when you cant put your hands on the car
