Bad MPG

op im guessing you have an email tune.if you do it might be too rich causing you to waste a little more gas.
one more thing calculate you mpg by hand not by the on board computer.

I have 3.55 gears and a 91 tune. In town I get about 17.5 when really ripping on it. On the Hiway with the cruise set at 70 I get 23.5. Right after I got my brenspeed 91 tune put on I would only get about 14mpg at the best. Even on the Hiway. I think it was a shitty tune. I switched to BBR tune and it has sooo much more get-up and alot better fuel milage. I'd try a BBR tune(BlowByRacing.com)

i agree with you, i have the Brennspeed tune and the BBR tune... the reason Brennspeed's tune sucks so bad is because they don't set the timing... BBR does!! i still don't understand why Brennspeed doesn't set it tho...

No kiddin. I was battling them for a while b/c it wa crap and they sent me several different one to try. they all sucked. They told me the timing probaly needed to be adjusted and I just needed to play with it some. WTF? Im not a tuner,lol. I would prob end up blowin my motor up bc I wouldnt have a clue what I was doin.

I don't worry to much about gas milage. Shoot, my Jeep was my daily driver for about 4 years or more and only get 9mpg. I used it on a 80mile round trip comute everyday for a while. Plus whatever I was driving in the evenings and weekends,lol. Any fuel milage I get in my mustang saves me money at the pump vs the Jeep haha

Also tire size has an effect as I just learned a bigger tire decreases gear ratio. A tall 28 or 29 tire will improve you MPG

yep!! i get around 21/24 average... depends if i go to the track and run on Friday night... but i have 18" wheels and it picked up with 18" than 17" wheels...
