I purchased a Whipple from Drew on 12/6. The first thing that happened was that it was supposed to have everything except the fuel pump, injectors, and spark plugs. After I paid for it he told me he forgot that he didn't have the belt but would get me a part number. I thought that sucked but I gave him the benefit if the doubt. I got a good deal so OK. After a couple of requests, he never got me the part number. I should have suspected something then.
When he sold me the blower, he said he would ship it out no later than 12/13. I checked on 12/12 and he said it would be shipped either 12/13 or 12/14. I checked on 12/16 and he told me his wife was shipping it that day and he would send me a tracking number on 12/17. I texted him the evening of 12/17 to inquire about the tracking number. No response. 2 more times the morning of 12/18. He responded that he had crushed his phone and lost my cell number. He said he would have the tracking number sent to me. That didn't happen. He texted me the following day saying that he would have his wife send me the tracking number. Didn't happen. I texted him Friday morning. He said he would do it himself in a few hours. After about 8 hours with no tracking number, I texted him again. No response. I texted him again at 10:30 last night stating that if he couldn't communicate with me, then I would file a dispute with PayPal. No response. So I filed the dispute this morning.
