After that gets settled. He should be banned for blatantly selling something he does not have. That is just low.

I will be posting a very detailed event here shortly if the seller of my Paxton kit does not admit his fault and make right.

Basically, I ordered the following:
-Paxton 2200 tuner kit POLISHED
-Coyote Specific BAP
-Spark Plugs
-ID1000s

I received:
-Paxton 2200 tuner kit SATIN finish
-Spark Plugs
That's all. I was told yesterday when I spoke to the supplier that the IDs were on the way.

I have screen shots of PMs that show what I ordered, and the price I was given for my order. The supplier says he didn't quote me what he did for a polished kit because he can't sell the kits for that price and that there must be miscommunication. There was no miscommunication or confusion on my part. So I will know something by tomorrow when he calls me and lets me know what he can do.

Good-luck hope you get it worked out to your satisfaction.

If not and you have the original PMs then Copy & Paste them on here that will show what the communication actually was.

Thanks Terry.

I have everything I need to prove that a deal was made with my exact order and price but I'm waiting to see what the supplier can do for me before I have to take it to that level. I'm not here to screw anyone over, but I also believe if a deal was made it should be followed through upon.

Ryan,

I have a small biz and I'm a man of my word. I honor whatever price I quote my customer even if I'm losing money from mis-quoting the job. It's the ONLY honorable thing to do. In this fucked up country/world...all we have anymore is our word. If I have to take a loss to keep my name good, so be it... I'll make it up somewhere else.

Hopefully said vendor will think more of his name than the couple hundred bucks he might lose on your kit.

Losing a couple hundred bucks to keep your name good = hurts momentarily
Losing your name/reputation on a forum of this caliber = hurts forever

Good luck!

I agree. A deal is a deal. Your reputation is all you've got.

Do you think he screwed up on the quote? Or, do you think he did a low quote to be dishonest? Big difference imo. Kind of like getting change for a $20 when you paid with a $10 vs not getting the advertised part because of a shady transaction.

Ryan showed me the PM's. Ryan specifically stated what he wanted, and it was clear as day in the text. The entire conversation was together from where he asked to get pricing on 4 items and he got the quote back.
