Thanks for the info SD, I didn't know it would still work with the 2v ecu and lockouts.

Seen it done that way on a couple of builds. Figure if you take the VCT and drive by wire throttle body out of the equation the computer doesn't know if the engine has two valves or three.

Well, depends on what your putting it into. 96-04 SN95 cars you will need the following.

1. We used 2valve shortys, so it required adapters in which we got from logan motorsports.

2a. Relocation of the IAC valve, we used the IAC of the 01 Cobra.

2b. We used the 01 Cobra with a throttle body adapter we have on loan from BBR, which incorporates the IAC control.

3. On the Manifold we flipped the fuel rail to put the connection on the passenger side and reused the factory return-less system.

4. We used the 07 FRPS, just wired it into the existing harness.

5. Special clutch from SPEC. i forgot the number.

Any questions let me know.

i wanted to do the swap into my 2002 GT. But a 3" cowl. idk man. thats a bit much for me for a street car. I was tryign to do this on the cheap................real cheap.

Would i absolutely need a new clutch? Tranny is a 3650, same tranny as the 05

I am keeping the stock 2v headers so that should be a good thing

Ive already got a pair of 3v fuel rails. i can rewire the FRPS so thats easy enough

the damned hood is killing me. I figured id have to cut a hole in the hood but i was hoping to just get a larger hood scoop to cover it up like the one they use on the tork tech s/c kit

You will defiantly need a clutch to take into account for the cable throwout system.

I was planning on cutting the hood too, and just let the manifold sit out, but Doug would not allow me to do this, so im going to a cowl.
