I am wanting to get opinions on boosting a 3v with the basic On3 70mm journal bearing turbo. What kind of hp/tq numbers can a person expect with a stock block? Any recommended upgrades? Any tips on install?? Any regrets?

Welcome to the site.

opinions on parts choices are considered "Chat" on our board, thread moved.

a lot of info on the site on this topic if you search some.

generally - power will depend on boost, keep it to 8lbs or less and 450 rwtq if you want to keep your motor in one piece.

Here's a dyno sheet from an On3 turbo installation in an '05-'09 GT. The baseline numbers are with a CAI & tune:

As you can see from the graphs, boost is 9psi at maximum TQ & 10psi at maximum HP. That's more than is safe for the stock connecting rods (Brenspeed advise a maximum of 450rwtq). Dialing it back to something like 7psi at maximum TQ & 8psi at maximum HP would be fine and you'd still have around 435rwhp & 435rwtq.
