The convertible has knocked off 9.90 runs but the car isn’t equipped with the proper safety equipment so a little piece of wood has been added to the throttle pedal. They would could simply remove timing and adjust the shift points in the automatic transmission but, of course, the hand-held SCT device is in Florida at UPR’s home facility."

Somebody with some etiquette needs to start a thread asking SVTP why they lock and throw away threads that bring out truth, backed by......um....truth.

This is nothing new, they aren't going to change anything over there. What is going on now is no different than what I went through with that lying Shaun and his pack of ballwashers. You'll notice that just like BBR, he cannot act the way he does anywhere other than that one forum. I actually had an admin there PM me to call him on the phone because he wouldn't put things in writing. That conversation turned out to be about "I hope you beat Shaun I'm tired of the nutswinging too", but publicly they turn around and hand out the infractions for "vendor bashing". I guess one thing about Shaun, he didn't say he would come and then just no show, he just made every excuse in the book not to come race even though people offered to pay his way. So in short, give up changing anything over there, just send them a PM telling them to grow some balls and to delete your fucking account, I did.

Terry, if you continue to pay that forum one cent going forward, then you're a damn fool.

I think thats what happen.. BBR worked on a special tune for Darren that will get him from the garage to mail box and back(about 60 feet). And some how they forgot to remove it.

I don't think that is a bad thing so you don't saturate the fourm with vendors; with regard to Jayman though...what was he supposed to do? He asked to be a vendor, he was told no, people contacted him via PM's for prices/parts so was he not supposed to answer them? IMO he did everything by the book and was punished for it....?

actually, that's not what he did. A post was put up specifically asking about parts to see if they would be solicited by pm by jay and he did exactly that,

he also had someone else send a pm recommending himself

problem is, it was a friend of the owners

not my call, but it wasn't following their rules, all of the vendors were told about what happened, and that's that


as far as the car,

on the 2nd run, we noticed a little coolant in the valley of the intake, the tune was spot on the with the meth, coolant temps aren't high, and their is no coolant in the oil, but at 160mph, we'd rather be safe than sorry.

we reused the head gasket, it looked perfect, we resprayed it, it only had 7 runs and 150 street miles, probably had a dimple or something we missed on it

we'll swap it out when we get back, and be back in th track in 2 weeks
