5.0 M6 3.55 dyno'd in 5th gear, stock with Gt500 axlebacks and Roush intake filter vs AED tuned with JLT intake and cat delete's. ~25 whp pick up....pretty nice feels good and sounds just loud enough in my book.

Hmm, I've been wondering what types of gains to expect when I get my dyno tune. I'm 5.0 M6 3.55 also, but currently stock tune, airaid, aluminum d/s, 3" X with side exits and borla over axle to Ataks...I'm getting mine dyno tuned at AED when my JBA longtubes go on, hoping for +40 whp....

Those are pretty realistic expectations, def post results.

AED tune, as in the cookie cutter email, or did you log and get revisions, or did Shaun do it on the spot?

Gains seem spot on, but, the numbers seem very generous. 39x RWHP stock is very high (5-6% drivetrain loss at most based on those numbers)

Manifold/Throttle body should put you closer to the 435-440 range. Add headers and a complete mid-pipe and you should be around 450-460 RWHP.

Really makes me want to trade in my 06 for a 5.0. I make just a tad more than you with a KB.

My 06 kenne bell car 8.5psi trapped better and ET'd better than my bolt on 5.0 fyi.

Agreed, the dyno guy said most bolt on and tune cars are right at 400 whp. I dyno'd in the same manner and in the same gear he did those cars so i dont know? The only thing we can think of is my wheels and tires being 10 lbs/corner lighter. But yeah, the car has trapped 115mph stock on the 4th gear limiter through the traps(which is also the reason i bumped my rev limit). I realistically expect a 117+ trap in good weather.
