I am running the stock PCV system with big catch cans on both sides.

It's running the stock Paxton drain line which is -8AN.

It's either run a -10AN or just add another -8AN drain line next to it

Try putting a one way valve between the line going from the intake to driver side valve cover. You might be pressurizing your crankcase.

What is another type of line anyone suggests for the drain line.

I would do braided but I'll have to buy all these different attachments just to use the lines and I don't think those attachments will fit Inbetween the supercharger and the bracket.

And I thought mine were expensive!! OMG!!

So what kind of baffling do these cans have? Hopefully they have chambers to separate oil and air?

These are the cross section of what mine look like:

Wish I could provide better details. I heard about these through f150 ecoboosts. Guys are claiming 10-15 hp outta them

How is a catch can increasing horsepower???

On a turbo motor, you can see 10-30 HP power difference with just ambient temperature fluctuations.

Alright well for reference for anyone else who is curious...

The fitting for the drain line for the paxton novi 2200 is the same as the fitting for the drain line that goes into the oil pan.

3/8"NPT (national pipe thread) x -8AN hose fitting

and paxton said any high temperature 1/2" hose will do just fine

Also, since a lot of people that work in parts stores are complete idiots and do not understand what -8AN means, it means 1/2" fitting.

Just if anyone was curious

AN are measured in 1/16"

So:
-1AN = 1/16"
-2AN = 1/8"

""
-8AN = 1/2"

Etc etc

I would be curious to know if a Paxton could benefit from an oil restrictor in the feed line like some of the Turbo Cars.

The Paxton comes with a restrictor in the inlet fitting. Not sure what size it is but it's not very big....maybe .06 max...probably smaller.

I dont think its a drainage issue, unless something is clogged something else has to be going on.

How many miles on the engine? Have you checked the one way valve to make sure its working correctly and facing the correct way?

I think what people are claiming most about it is less power loss due to the shit that is running through the pvc system. It may be a f150 ecoboost issue. They also claim 1-3 mpg improvement.

That first link has a drawing of the baffles.

Those threads look like a vendor trying to scare people into buying his product. Of course a catch can is going to be a good thing. The way he describes his product is that anyone who doesn't use it doesn't care about their vehicle. He's really into the beat down on anyone who brings common sense into the thread.

Could it be PT Barnum reincarnated as a catch can vendor?

More good info.

By all means though do your own research. I will continue to myself.

You might be right about that guy, lol.

Edit 2: he explains it good here

*Update*

I added a secondary drain line and cleaned out all of the piping.

It has been 2 weeks, and nothing has come out of the blow off valve and nothing is on the maf sensor or in any pipes at all.

So that second line seemed to do the trick!

Glad it seems to have solved your problem, but it still doesnt make sense...lol There are tons of people out there with these superchargers and none of them need 2 drain lines. Just sayin.

True but some do run 2 lines as well. I also have a upgraded oil pump. 2013gt500 pump so I'm sure that contributes in some way as well as to too much oil flow

Hi Randy
I'm guessing all is still good with this? I'm getting ready to install my Paxton here and was considering going 2 or 3 drain tubes off the bat just to avoid any potential issues and almost future proofing in case I get hungry for more power later. I already have a 2nd oil pan so may as well take advantage of it being off the car. Found a nice kit from JPC, probably a little pricey but I like the idea of not having to customize anything.

I'd also like to add that I spoke to Paxton about converting to SL and he said it would be a backwards step as its a completely separate gear set and the one used in the non SL features heavier duty bearings, and the cost to do so is up there with just buying a new headunit. Adding this here as this has been the most helpful thread in my searches.

Do you think 3 would be overkill?

Link to JPC paxton oil feed/drain kit for those searching.
