BMR Differential Bushing Kit Install help needed

First off, I am working on jackstands and have the rear lowered to the floor which makes this 10x harder than it needs to be. I removed the stock rubber bushing using the hole saw method. I lubed up the bushings and have them in position in the old "clam shell" that remained. When I push in the metal sleeve, it always pushes out the other side of the bushing. What do I need to do to get this thing installed? I am doing all this by pushing the bushing and metal sleeve in from driver side to passenger side of the differential. I'm so frustrated right now!

So you are inserting the sleeve, and it is pushing the pass side bushing piece out?

If so, put the end on the pass side bushing, and use something to retain it, and put the sleeve through. Example: position bushing assembly within stock shell. Insert outer bushing end on pass side (like pictured). Place a tool or something to hold the pass side from coming out, place sleeve in position (to insert into bushing... and use a soft hammer (mallet) and pop it in.

Thanks that helped plus I borrowed a 6 in C-clamp to push it in.

Had this same issue with my J&M LCA. Finally my dad had the smart idea to put the bushings in first and than slip the sleeve in. Worked like a charm. Wish I would of thought of it instead of fighting it for 45 minutes.

Finally got that stock one out of there I see. I wanted to get everything ready for the upcoming test'n'tune this coming weekend at Atco but I either have food poisoning or a stomach virus that kicked my A$$ today. I finally was able to eat some rice about 20 minutes ago and it seems like it's going to stay down.

Yea Dyson, I finally got off my ass to do this. On the short test drive, the car was a lot more vibration free I have a few other mods I want to get done before I hit the track, mainly being the front end alignment and pinion angle checked/reset. Who's organizing S197 day at Atco?

Heh....no rentals for me this year since I'm slowing the car down to run in the street class points series. Can't go faster than 11.50. I did finally get my car dyno'd and through the auto she made 545hp and 560tq so I was happy with that. The car has a built 4r70w in her now.

Heh...if I can keep her clean...that's been my biggest issue.
