^ Their 17x4.5" front is awesome IMO - but I could see people not wanting to run that full-time.

Shotokan, I see what you mean. I dunno, I am kinda digging it. I may end up coating the rears...but I am growing to like the look personally.

The 1/2 mile and mile events here don't allow a <5" wheel. I wanted a 7". Landed up with an 18x7" to put a 225 up front. Slowing down from 180 or 200+ on a 4.5" wheel just didn't sound fun, and I like a bit more emergency lane/braking for all the highway driving I do.

I wanna thank the guys over at GForce and FRPP, for getting these in my hands so quickly.

After an initial inspection, I am more than impressed with these shafts. As I've mentioned in other posts, we have been using GForce for IRS components for many years, and I am not surprised at the build quality, one bit. Very excited with my decision on these!

I am crashing on the car, trying to get it ready for this weekend. Just hoping the tune will be available - we'll see.

More coming!

Putting the halfshafts in. Immediately upon holding them...the weight difference is apparent. Typically, I like the lightest stuff possible...but I think the added weight in this particular case, is a bonus. (Must) - I mean, these shafts are good to 1500HP.

Here are some shots I took. Again, FRPP made a great choice with these.

Tune, and some suspension/chassis tweaks......all I need, for the initial round of testing.

As always, more to come!

What's the deal on the tune? I heard that FRPP is holding the source codes real close to the chest. Is someone going to be able to crack that for you?

OK, so it was YOUR car that Justin was calling about that day. I was by his shop and he was on the phone discussing acquiring the source codes, etc. Hopefully he has gotten what he needs by now.

It may have been mine.

Definitely last minute stuff. I really wanted to test the car before going.

Unfortunately, I won't be making it to the Coyote Shootout this weekend.

Fortunately, the modding continues.

Assisting Viking Performance with some rear shock and coilover designs out back. These are the "Crusader" series Double Adjustable pieces - which are their higher end shocks with a superior Rebound Valving technology.

I will be using the shocks initially, then I will use the Coilovers once I get a little more data compiled on the rear suspension system on this car. Motion Ratios in regards to rates, travel, etc.

cool, I'd love to see pics of any shock sensors you rig up during your testing (would love to see the data too, but I suspect that'll be close hold with the shock mfr).

Aw, man. That's a bummer. Couldn't get a tune?

Those dampers look pretty sweet man! I would have so much fun setting those up! I love suspension stuff!

People have been calling, emailing, and PM'ing me about updates. I realized I have been slacking.

This time of year is super hectic. I am doing my best to juggle this build, S550 Suspension development, trade shows...and of course Holiday functions.

Anyhow;

I am set to get some dyno results, and some track passes next week if everything goes smoothly. I am going to start the fine tuning on the car on Monday, the 15th. If everything works out, I plan on trying to hit up the drag strip Thursday, the 18th.

As for the car, I decided to do a few visual mods in the meantime. I ordered up a Vinyl Tint kit for it from Jason at Anchor Room.

http://www.anchor-room.com/product_info.php?cPath=61_121_89_130&products_id=18154

I think for $53....this is going to make a huge difference. I also plan on blacking out the front pony...the 5.0 side emblems, the Rear GT emblem and the Exhaust Tips.

My good friend Seth @ SOS Tint here in Tampa is going to be doing a "black out" tint job on the car, which should make a huge difference as well.

I have been seeing a lot of talk about Diode Dynamics lighting. I had an LED light conversion in my 2004 Cobra, and loved it....so I figure these will make a super nice addition to my '15.

LED interior lighting is the way to go. Thanks to Steve and the Crew at Diode Dynamics for sending these out to me so quickly!

As for the suspension, I have a few prototype pieces under the car. I will give more details as time comes....but I fully anticipate to be running the full BMR Set-Up VERY soon.

The brakes! The Aerospace Brakes I got, I am so anxious to install. I am awaiting some custom brake lines, and I will be bolting them on asap. These things are so nice, and check out how light.

To put that into perspective....the PP Mustang ROTOR ONLY is 34lbs....per side! lol....

Hopefully I can have some videos of the car on the dyno early next week, stay tuned, more to come!

So, now it is time to focus on getting this thing ready for NMRA.

Ken Bjonnes of Lund Racing has decided to go ahead and tackle the tuning on the car. I am heading down to South Florida this Friday to drop the car off with him, in an effort to get this thing out running and setting records.

As for the car....I REALLY need to get this thing cleaned up and get some pics. This car is SWEET!

Dude.....

You can't even imagine. Errr, maybe you can.

It's been crazy...

What a PITA. I heard something about Ford keeping some of the source code but I figured it would be sorted out by now. We're going to need to tune ours in about a month. I hope something is sorted by then.

Good luck man!:thumb2:
