How do you switch from low boost to high boost without the use of the mbc?

Have the low boost spring in with the control line hooked up normally. To inactivate it just move the signal line to the other banjo fitting that's used for a boost controller. That should keep the wg closed? I haven't done it yet. I'm really happy with 14psi. Any reason why that wouldn't work?

No, just asking if that is what you are doing. I had an issue with my Trueboost once (due to my install) and I moved the line on the waste gate to run full boost as you describe. It is in the thread I linked above. Just trying to keep it apples to apples...

With the boost controller can u hook it up to the existing boost gauge? Or do u have to use the kit? Kinda have a hard on for my cobalt gauges lol

Can you hook what up to the gauge? I don't understand the question. Having a boost controller doesn't mean you can't still have a boost gauge.

The gauge is the controller you can run a manual boost controller with what you have now it is just a valve that you turn with your hand in line between the vacuum port and the wastegate.

I'm thinking about doing this so I don't have to change pulleys when I wanna run hard.

i'm leaning towards the eboost2 but it looks to the a pain in the ass changing boost settings. i don't like overly complicated things, lol

Its supposed to be nicer then the Trueboost but the Trueboost only needs one button pressed to change between low boost and high boost.

Interesting read. I've often wondered why not pulley a centri set up to make boost build superfast and just bleed off what you don't want.

If you have two setups and one is set to make 15psi max and the second is set to make 30 psi max. Does the second blower make more boost sooner and lower in the rev range?
