Update to my "try to be successful but I fail" night...
Started off good. Got all my old fuel lines, fuel filter, etc out of the car (Point of no return)
Still going strong. Got the lines on the fuel hat hooked up as well as the return line. Also got them ran down to through the tiny hole beside the chassis and the fuel tank (for those that have done this install you know its a PITA!!!)
What the bottom looks like where all the fuel lines are being fed from the hat to the bottom of the car.
Having subframe connectors make it alot harder for this installation.
Feed line and aeromotive fuel filter sitting in place (not mounted)
Got the lines for the fuel rails hooked up and ran to where the regulator will be mounted
Now, where my success makes a complete 180* and leaves me in the dark. I bought the feed line and return line from a friend who had the same system in his Mustang. But for some reason after I ran the lines, they are not long enough??? I have them routed the same way, and both ends are under the brake booster. Can not get them to budge anymore since they are maxed. Sooooo, Im stuck. I don't have anymore braided line or -an fittings to complete it! I'm dumbfounded of why they are not long enough. They are about 1.5-2ft short since they have to go from the bottom of the brake booster to the front of the strut tower.
Also, I have to modify the bypass valve (even more) to clear the Fore fuel rails. Many people say the Fore rails will not fit with the KB, but I'm almost there at getting mine to fit. It only needs minor trimming and I'm golden. Once I do that, all I have to do is mount the SC, install TB, intake, and belt.
Hopefully I will figure out the fuel system issue soon. I need to get this car back on the road.
