Run this by me one more time.

- Bought 8 injectors
- Installed them found 1 was faulty
- He asked you to pay a $25 cleaning fee and buy a new injector because you didn't want them to refurbish the old one?
- You bought a new injector instead of having them refurbish the one that wasn't working

I have a good deal of experience with where the injectors were purchased from and to the best of my knowledge no one that had purchased injectors had issues like this; I had also heard about this issue before it was posted so I knew the background.

If you are referring to my commenting about the fan issue with Jeremy he was supposesed to be underway and if so he would not be able to commuicate.

I don't have many friends but the ones I have I will stand up for when I think they have been wronged.

Here is how it went down. He called me about 1000cc injectors. I talked to him about them and he ended up buying them. He towed the car to pro-dyno after installing them. One injector was not working. He then took an extention and was tapping on it to try to make it work and wile doing that he made a blimish on the injector. I then talked to him and he kept saying he needed one by that weekend so he can start driving the car and dataloging it. I told him my supplier said he would have to send back the old injector so they can check it out before sending one so i then told him to send a new injector to him because he had to have one. I called sportingawoody and told him its on the way. He then asked about paying for it. I told him lets wait andsee what happens after they get his injector and see what is wrong with it and how they will warrenty it. He was ok with that. My supplyer then messed up and sent it to the wrong person. After we got that straitened out and he got it the car fired right up and ran just like it is suppose to. My supplyer called me the other day and said they looked at it and it had debris of some kind in it. He said it can come from anything. He cleaned it and retested it. They then charged me the cleaning fee. I told sportingawoody what happened. They are sending me the old injector back. It isnt a referbished injector just a cleaned one. If he would have just waited and followed the warrenty process he would have had to buy the extra injector (which i still havent been paid for even though he gave me his word and he said he was a man of his word) and i will not send it to him till i get paid. In this same time he wanted a maf. I sold him one at cost to help out as much as possible. Sorry for the misspelling i am typing this from my phone.

I also paid for the cleaning of the injector to reduce the down time, not sure what else I could have done or supposed to have done to make this right...

sounds like a few unfortunate events that all happened at once...I wouldn't hesitate to use you or S&H, anyone who gives out their direct phone number to talk to is not out to make waves with people. its one of those situations that sucks for everyone involved.

did you not sell me this from the get go and tell me i would have no issues ?was that not your selling tool ? 2nd , I told you that cleaning/refurbishing that DOA injector was not an option period . yes i offered to pay stating my displeasure with having to do so. then it took 2 weeks from the day this issue started to get a brand new injector in the mail and after speaking with rcm90 ( the recipient of the replacement ) it was declared to me that you stated to him not to get in a rush to mail it out but do it when he had a chance. so I had to get his contact info from you on a monday night when he recieved my injector to try an pay for next day air since he recieved it the prior thursday morning so you tell me what the fuck is up with that ? 5 fucking days ? its almost like you wanted to intentionally see me squirm. And as far as the injector goes, you never told me you would ship it once payment was recieved, i specifically told you i would pay once i had it and you said you hadn't recieved it yet so based on your track record with this transaction,,, you can go fuck yourself, i will pay you when i recieve it in a week , a month, who the fuck knows when it'll show up , but it will be the full 95 not 75, i don't want your goddam charity, i wanted to be treated as a fucking valued customer.

ill say it again this is all because he went above and beyond to talk me out of making a purchase that i had all but had my finger on the button to make the payment. guess that was my fault for trusting a stranger that i had bought from before. not again!

He saved you money, and you got a little behind, maybe your not meant for this car game....This shit happens.....Ask me how I know...

BTW these injectors are just as good as ID and have proven to be so on many 1000whp builds.....BTW I have never talked/brought or even delt with S&H, but you sound like you missed your bipolar medicine refill.

I'd say this ruined any chances of getting a new replacement injector. Now if it wasn't damaged in anyway your due a brand new injector IMO. Seems like to me that "debris/dirt" would have been in more than one injector.

I've been in this game since the 80's starting with fox bodies up thru now, have built some very nice cars and built steele racings mini sprints, outlaw cars, and other different circle track cars for jerry and traveled on his race team, started from the ground up with monstermotorsports and buit 100's of imports, from dsm's to honda and acuras anda few 6 sec imports including one of buschur racings 875 awhp cars which will stay unamed , still do it part time while working for honda. now repeat that again asshole ? my credentials far outweigh your internet ninja skills !

Yep. Something doesn't sound right. Because if you had dirt/debris in #7 you'd have issues with 5,6, and 8 too.

Either wait and see what Bosch says and maybe get it fixed for free or pay extra to "have one right away". You chose option B and then the denied your warranty claim due to debris and possibly the damage.

S&H won't be refunded by Bosch due to the state of the injectors, why do you deserve to be? Just because he sold you on a different product? He's a salesman so of course he sold you on an item that 99% of the time would have been flawless. Building cars means that sometimes you get defective parts, and time tables are missed. If you can't handle this maybe it's time to sell and move on to knitting or something.

Turns out that Bosch injectors aren't junk, S&H doesn't give out free money (well aside from the MAF they sold you at cost because they felt bad for the shipping error and other stress they'd put you threw), and some people don't handle minor disappointments very easily. I mean we're talking the price of one fuel injector in the grand scheme of things, not like you discovered a crack in your freshly built block that they're saying doesn't exist.

Dud I lived the DSM game for 12 years from 1998 to 2010 when I got out of it as it was dying, there aren't any 6 second awd Buschur cars, pack up your story, move on, and try again. No one has even caught John Shephard in the 7's in an AWD car, and the guys at Magnus still hold bragging rights by being the main guys behind getting Brent Rau's rwd Eclipse to run right and start making 6 second runs at over 200. :liar:
If I'm reading this wrong and you're just bragging about helping Buschur build an 872whp car, I'm going to tell you that you should have more than enough experience from working with that bearing polishing hillbilly to know that there are delays and issues with parts. Dave would have sold you a whole other set of smaller injectors, put a new sticker on them, and then threatened to fight you when you called him out on it. Go hit up Walgreens and get your medications refilled and cry somewhere else about how you didn't get your every last wish and desire fulfilled.

I dont think its really the fact that the injector was bad that made a sour taste in his mouth Im sure he understands that shit happens no matter what brand or manufacturer. The problem I see is that once the problem occured it took him 2 weeks to even get the new injector. He probably feels like that should have been a top priority so he could get his car running. Also Id like to see the damage to the injector from tapping on it. Sounds to me like the manufacturer wanted more money for something they should have backed up. When they didnt back it up and he was sold on the injectors he wants the guy who sold them to him to back it up. I understand shit happens plus communication errors happen. Thats a bunch of bs to charge $20 to clean an injector as well. I dont see how that one could be clogged and other injectors not have debris as well.

should have went with ID......too soon?lol

few people told me to go with Bosch and it was tempting to save a few bucks....but because ID had such a great rep i didn't want to risk having to play with my injectors files....in the end,if you look around for the deals, the ID was only $150-$200 more, which is beans in relation to all the other crap.

6's were 1/8 times not 1/4, shoulda cleared that out the gate. we run 1/8 round here. and no i didnt help buschur build this car, this car was under contract with buschur and because of a time pinch in a certain situation, i was allowed to do the work on this engine being that we were 8 hours away and time wasn't an option at that point for their customer. i believe that car actually went in the 5's later on. so this is how you chose to start your tenure on this forum by throwing rocks ? bad parts haven't been my complaint, bad service has been my complaint. Racing is an uncertainty, there is no warranty except for dead parts on arrival. I wasn't willing to take a refurbed/cleaned ( same fucking thing ) part that was doa because i didn't pay a refurbed price. i told him this blatantly before any measure was taken. before it was sent off or anything. and the blemish, is all but nonexistent, it is a small line less than an 1/8" long right at the top lock seam

again, ignorance, he did't sell me a maf at cost because he screwed up, he sold me a maf at cost because he priced me one he had for that , i paid and it turns out he didn't have it anymore so he ordered one to replace it because i had already sent payment and was quitely ,patiently waiting. one has nothing to do with the other. :asshat:

Not really you still havent paid for the injector. Id injectors are bosch. Id doesnt make their injectors. Plus if they are garbage why does ford use them.
