No one will ever see the difference besides the people who payed all that extra money for the kit. Even then you cant tell unless you start snooping

It's not Jerry rigged its the same valve that comes on the stock intake in a different position.

I haven't even went out and fiddled with it.. Yet but I can not imagine it will be to difficult

I'm sticking open breathers on for the crank case vent and really going to try cleaning it up under the hood.

I would like to see the what other people did or where they mounted the valve.

The goal is to keep this in show and go car.. That's why I went with the polished Paxton and polished canton overflow tank. So as cleanly as this can be done is the route I will take.. But no way in hell I'm spending 200 bucks on the install kit when I can spend 3.89 at autozone

I personally think it looks better without the foam pieces but it's all a matter of opinion. After talking with Stephen I was convinced to buy the install kit. Soooooo...... I bought the install kit put my intake on and then I was like, "WTF are all these extra parts for"? They were the same brand new parts that I would have taken off the car so I returned the kit and went to AutoZone for a simple $5.99 fix. Either way you do it you will be happy but I couldn't justify $174.00 for replacing new part with.....well......new parts.

Thanks I got every part that came off of a real boss.. Just not the purge valve I haven't even bolted it down just set it on there so a mouse or something didn't make a nest in my intake runners.

It also says to replace the rubber o-ring gaskets.. Thats another thing I'm not doing.. The car had 1000 miles on it.. Ls1 guys have had there's off 1000's of times and not bought new gaskets

A piece oh hose, some clamps, a few bolts and washers, and a chunk of metal from the "bin"...

I agree...there are extra parts in the kit that you don't need. Darren was pointing that out when we installed mine...lol.
