Im heading to BG tomorrow for the 12-5 test n tune any other S197 members going..
I cant wait till tomorrow as I installed my purge, bottle heater and bottle gauge today.
On the Agenda for tomorrow morning when i wake up is to swap over to the racestar set up and remove any items from car along with the passenger seat.
First im planning on making 2 reg boost only passes to get a feeling for the 60's i have on now and make sure the A/F is still good above 100 mph ( i did the local 1/8th mile track last week and highest was 12.2 right before the shift).
Second im going to make 2 nitrous passes and pray for the best LOL
My last season best Boost only pass was 11.1@121 with the tranny messing up along with letting out of the gas several times.. My best trap was a 127
so if I can pull a 11.1@121+ then i know the tranny situation has been worked out..
Whats new for this season ,is i swapped over to 275/60/15 MT et streets..last sunday at the local 1/8th track i started at 15 psi but on the last pass to even get into the 1.7 60's i had to drop down to 8psi.
What is everyone running there 275/60 PSI at and whats there 60's?mods for everyone to consider when suggesting PSI for me is I have:
ported/ upper and lower pulley... a 3000 stall that i really cant stall up as im still spinning over 1500rpms .
N2O system is activated on a WOT switch connceted to the gas pedal.
Plan is to bring the Rpms up to 1500 or what ever i find hooking at and ease into the throttle out of the hole and then gradually give it gas to full throttle depending on amount spin. It thinking its gonna spray half way thru 2nd all the way to 4th, then ill cross the line.
Boost goal is 11.1@121 ( anything lower is a new Personal best)
Nitrous goal is 10.6@132
