I'm pretty sure Bear makes a floating kit. The Shelby KR's have them.
I talked to Baer about this a while back and they are definitely a floating kit.

Earl's yours look awesome in person. I really want a set for my ride.
Are they using the floating rotor to avoid knock back?
I have never experienced anything like that with my Wilwood's. I have a TruTrac in the rear and with the spacer installed between the axles, there isn't much movement like a stock setup may have.
The 9" ends, offered in the package by lethal performance, would stop the lateral movement of the axles wouldn't it? This is the rear package I'm talking about

I'm sure this kit would be overkill for a road racer. Again the rear brembos, or anything I put back there, would be for aesthetics. The rebuild would be insurance/peace of mind launching on drag radials/slicks.
It's still a solid rear axle. There will still be lateral movement.
I mean, there's always deflection in every single thing that goes under any amount of force. The question is how much deflection.
If you didn't have a limited slip and didn't need the relief the later force provides on the LS clutches, could you not shove a solid spacer in between the axles to minimize the axle deflection? That factory spring probably sees a lot more deflection than a solid spacer with maybe a millimeter or two of slop.
What do the high horsepower road racers use?
This is something I'm somewhat curious about as well, as I had thought about going to a 9" rear end or at least the axle ends until I found out they aren't great for road race.
Lockers... some still use the Torsen T2R, some still use a clutch based diff like the Eaton Posi or the Auburn units in an 8.8. The pad knock back is an issue that is taken care of with the standard brakes reasonably well if you keep track of your axle end play. A tap of the brakes before the big braking zones helps eliminate some of it too.
So even with a floating caliper, including the stock brakes, there is still some knockback present?
