Wow, I can't even imagine how much beer has been consumed already. I know my head would be so clouded I wouldn't be able to think straight for a while.

:furious:

Sorry for your luck dude. What's the plan now?

Who built/tuned the motor?

That sucks big time!!!

I'm about to drop the coin on a stroker SB, but I think I'll wait a little longer to see what pans out. . .

Damn this sucks! Sorry to hear.

I know he was running an email tune from Brenspeed and I have to imagine that even as good as they are its hard to get an email tune dead on with a blown stroker motor...

Green bullitt, Sorry to push but those of us waiting to pull the trigger on strokers need to know the details . Whose stroker? amount of boost? Your set up is very close to what I am planning and I need to know what happened. Where did you pick up the block? Or did you build the stock block ? Sorry for all the questions and i know you must be flipping out right now thanks for any answers you can supply.

Ouch, all that work/money put into it and no dyno tune.

I know I will be playing with "chance" when I put the paxton on next month. I will be driving straight to Mid Atlantic performance after the install with a very safe base tune and babying it the whole way. Hopefully the stocker will last a while until I can build a motor.

Best of luck to the OP.

This was the built 302 right? What happened? Who did the tune?

Yes, the built 302, and Brenspeed did the tune.

Loading the picture now...

Sorry for your loss man

RIF:

From his sig.

Not too sure what happened....car was running great and then boom.

I'm putting the entire paxton kit up for sale. I'm going back to N/A for now. This shit makes me sick.

I've had my paxton installed for a couple weeks now and my car has been sitting in the garage the whole time with a base tune loaded for the drive to my tuner tomorrow.

With all the money it costs to build up a car I cant stress how important a good dyno tune is. It just may have prevented Grn's mishap.

A little money spent now can save a lot in the long run!
