Kit is pretty much complete minus the fuel system and the spark plugs....just have to upload the tune into and maybe get it started by this weekend.

What are you doing for fuel mods?

GT500 Pumps and 60# deka injectors for now.....

the autolite HTOs from brenspeed were $12.95 each....so $13.00 x 8 = $104 not shipped....well I guess not much less.

Car is finished up and running... Took it out for a test drive and blew the vaccum hose off the manifold... Or crankcase relief tube I guess it's called. Tightened it back on and took it out again. Car seem to run good. There are some kinks that need to be worked out but for the most part car is ready to go.

Took the car out to class... Still seems to miss when you really lay into it. Kinda coughs off. I haven't upgraded the spark plugs just yet. I'm guessing that's where I'm
getting my miss and sputtering.

Your most likely getting some spark blowout with the stock plugs and gap. Get the new plugs in with proper gap and get it to a dyno for some hands on tuning. I assume your running a mail order tune, Brenspeed?

On a side note I got my garage floor hosed down cleaned up(no more salt from the DD), uncovered the car, and to get the mods started I put on the shorty antenna and painted mirror covers my gf got me. Most likely I'll install the BAP tomorrow and maybe the headers on sat. Then I'll wait for the blower to get delivered...:yuck:

Yes, I'm currently running a mailorder tune from Brenspeed through my SCT handheld. The car runs great for a mail tune. I called about plugs today...because of the newer head style the plugs are a little pricey...Brenspeed recommend a set of Brisk plugs, and they were $135 shipped. The FRPP plugs that you recommended are a little cheaper, but I might stick with what Brenspeed says and go with their choice since they are tuning the car. I'm already this far in, whats another $30.

Nice...always good to start a little early and get the other mods done. Those KB BAPs are cake to install, it will only take ya and 1-2hrs at most. Headers will take a little longer but arent too bad. Might as well get it all done, because once that blower arrives, thats all you'll be concentrating on..:thumb:

haha yeah...I've been watching build threads for the past couple years and I've finally had the money to pull the trigger....wouldnt recommend maxing out the credit cards, but it is tempting.
