We are bringing a buddy of mines Trailblazer SS up that way in a couple weeks to have his friend put a cam in it and tune it. I'm probably gonna follow him up there with my mustang and talk cams with his friend.
I could swing by and take a peak.

Oh yeah...thats why Im not pissed about it, lol. They have done more than a good job with that e-mail tune. The car actually runs pretty good. I'm very happy with their tuning so far, thats why I'm gonna stick with them.
I would have used Brenspeed too if they were a little closer. My old GM tuner(speed inc) actually told me about Kurgan. He's working on my base email tune so I can get the car out to him for the dyno tuning. Soon as Im done installing the kit Ill set the date.

I also still need to upgrade the stock clutch lol....thats first on my plans before anymore power. Its already having enough trouble transfering the power it has now.
Thats on my list too, but it might wait till next year. I wanna actually enjoy the car this summer and not work on it every weekend.

Really....I didnt have to many fitment issues other than that intercooler and trying to get one of the bolts in while mounting the paxton headunit. Wish I lived a little closer, I could come help ya out.
Well it is actually only the intercooler brackets that gave me problems. The other times were taking the nub off the valve cover and modifying that stud bolt. I think Im also gonna take the dremel to the lower grill and open it up...

My car should be done by then...hopefully! What town you going to? Maybe we'll have to go and terrorize the streets a little!!!

Haha he was a little bit of an ass. He's not bad. He just wouldn't really tell me what he was doing. Very vague and it was irritating me.

I would like to wait until next year to do any major mods but I don't think my clutch is gonna hold that long. I'm tired of working on my car. I just want to drive it.

I will be using a 3.33 pulley which is one size smaller than what came on the blower(3.48 stock). My tuner said the 39's are pushing it at anything over 480rwhp and I trust him so I will take his advice and run. Do a google search on Bob Kurgan(Kurgan Motorsports)...he's tuning it.

Hose is already cut and ready to attach as soon as I get the adapter. Tried to get Paxton to next day air it but didn't feel like arguing with the guy this morning.

What rwhp #'s are you looking for? I know when Bob tuned my car a few years ago, he was a bit hesitant to push much more than 450whp.

My car put down 474whp at 10 lbs of boost on 39lb injectors. There was still a bit more room left for hp, but I didn't want to get greedy with the stock block.

Yup he is real funny about pushing the stock block to it's limit. I had a small pulley, headers, exhaust, tune, JLP intake and a ported blower on my 02 Lightning it was pushing somewhere are 500 and he didn't want to go muh higher than that.

Wheels and tires came in....going from 20s back to 18s makes the wheels look tiny. Getting them mounted now. Waiting for Ford to give me the green light to come get the bumper.

Looking for 500rwhp and I already told Bob that I know Im pushing it... Im thinking with the 3.33 and the longtubes I have I will be around 12psi.

That would be cool if yours is done, I would like to check it out.
Let me know when you'll be in the area.

Just think how it would have looked with 17's! IMO S197's need at least an 18" wheel.

Yeah the rear tire is a 275/40/18 and it looks tiny out back with the drag springs lol. I couldnt imagine a 17 with a 315/35/17 tire. It wouldnt look right at all.

Definitely be careful with that 500rwhp goal you have their. Its very achieveable with that Paxton Novi 2200SL HO Kit, but your rods and internals are gonna be at their power limits.
