I'm thinking of running there 322ci big bore motor, with some worked heads and a nasty set of cams once I'm done with the stocker

323ci with minor heads, blower cams, single or twin turbo with a built 5r55s for me i wanna go fast, real fast.

yeah that will get you going pretty fast.....

My other option is that I will just take a dart shortblock (360ci+) slap on some Pro One heads, fab up a sheet metal plenum, and run a 70mm turbo kit with it.....but if I went that route I would just go the full length and get a Ford 9" made for it and cage it and all....

its all in what my budget can handle in the next couple years....I may not be doing shit with it lol.

my budget will fit building this car into a bad ass street car, it wont see the track much after the work is done, i have been debating the cage idea though, i hesitate only because i hae owned a caged out street car and it sucked terribly but was cool at the same time because i was in high school with it and made it look faster than it was but in reality it was just a 12 sec camaro but my dad had the cage put it so i wouldn't kill myself.

If you dont plan on track using the car then dont worry about the cage....my friends Hennessy Z06 makes right around 1,000whp and doesnt have one....he also never drives it and doesnt track use it.

i am only thinking of it for safety , i get the urge on backroads to push the limits often. I lived through the 145mph Yamaha r6 crash, not sure if i can make it through another fast wreck. I think im down to like 1 or 2 lives left LOL

Well then just point a minor cage setup in the car just to hold the newly added power and to provide some safety. You dont need to go full tubular or anything crazy like that....unless you plan on track using it, then you will have to go by local regulations depending on how quick you run.

That would do just fine....I dont plan on caging mine for sometime, no need to. Just gonna run some subframe connectors when I gut it and do some weight reduction.
