I am going to be purchasing a CAI and tuner next week. I hear the Bama tune with the Air raid intake is good. I also like the fact that Bama will give you updates for free. I also hear the JLT CAI and Steeda tune works well. Any advice on what setup I should go with.

Ive tried a few companies tunes and let me tell you what man, you will NOT be dissapointed with Jon Lunds tune from Evolution Performance. Car pulls like an ANIMAL with his tune + JLT CAI and i wouldnt have it any other way. Daily drivability is perfect and staying off the throttle is hard when driving becuase its so much fun. A couple other tunes ive tried just didnt do anything for me. The tunes for lifes a marketing trick because youll never need more tunes with a good one like Jons. The only other mod i have is magnaflow cat back and plan on doing headers real soon. He already turns off the rear o2's and cat protection so no need to retune and i can adjust gear changes when i swap them out too.

Good luck with whatever tune you choose. JLT is LOUD! But i love it.

You will need to get a new tune with long tubes to increase fuel mixture or lose some low end power. Also since front O2's are further down the exhaust they will read too cold if you don't get a new tune.

Not true.

We made no changes to our 2011 GT's tune after the longtube install and picked up plenty of power up top and power down low. The factory wideband 02's read and work just fine with LT's. We found no reason to tweak the tune after the LT install.

OP, If I can be of any help please give me a call. :thumb:

Thanks,

JJ

I believe Lethal Performance uses Mr. Lund as well......... Ran a 13.66 with my 2011 V6...... Only mods are CAI and Tune..... Magnaflow exhaust.....

I have a Evo/Lund 93 tune. My car went 11.97 @ 116.15. Tune and DR's only. I have since added 3.73 gears , Circle D 3600 stall and JLT cai. Hoping to get back to the track soon.
