Gave Adam my car last week to have the CAI made & installed, the ice box and to get it dyno again. My HP use to be 421hp/409tq. Today he got it up to 447hp/425tq.

I still need to get it painted

Nice to see you back in Ed. Ask Adam what's with the shorts and the long sleeves? Is that some new fad like sunglasses at night? When you going racing again?

hey ed what all did adam do to relocate the brake system ? i was tinkering around with the idea to make a similar setup for our turbo's but i just really haven't had too much time to pull it apart and really check it out , but hell now that the motors cooked id have time to experiment with piping lol , just would be alot easier to start if the brake ordeal was already figured out tia , beau

From the looks of it, it looks like they just moved it to the side and have it held in place with a brace. They didn't cut any brake lines at all. They did cut a hole for the pipe to go through.

Are you talking about the sleeves on the ice box? As far as me racing, I'm still banned from that. If my car was ready Thursday, I was going to take it to the track. I really want to race on the 6th at Barona, but I won't get my hopes up. Some my ask why do the mods if you can't race, the answer is "power baby, power". I'm really happy with the way the car is running now, Adam and crew did an outstanding job. When I took it for the test drive with Adam last night. I was doing about 40mph and punch it, it spun the tires and chirp changing gears. Now I need to get some tires like Don's for just daily driving, it even easier now to fishtail. I was kinda scared driving the car and Adam siad "do you want me to drive it". LOL

Nice Ed! The intake is going to look good when it's painted. If you paint it Sonic Blue, your car will be even faster. haha. And FWIW, I'll be changing my street DRs very soon. They lasted me about 10K miles.

And now I'm really getting the itch to have him make me a trunk reservoir, too. If I do that, I guess I might as well move the battery back there, also. Curses on the neverending need for speed. LOL

Nice Ed, very nice. So how hard is it to pull off the CAI? Does it just disconnect from the T/B and pulls up? It'd be a PITA to have to pull the bumper anytime you want to get to the front of the motor.

Adam thought you might want and ice box too and I told him that you did want one. He made changes to mine like the return hole on top, the hose is lower compare to ken3030's setup.

I'll need to get a new hood some day and then I'll have the CAI tube powder coated. But for now I'll get it painted. Blue isn't an option, we silver is faster just like the silver bumper you had on your car :roflmao:.

Adam can make anything. Here's a picture of one he made for a 2005 GTO.
You should give Adam a call and talk to him about what you want.

I don't think it'll be that hard. Just disconnect the air filter and disconnect it from the TB and it'll pull up. I'll get under the call today and take pictures of the air filter.

12:00pm and Adam just called me to see how the car did on the way home last night (120 mile trip for me). The car ran great, not one little problem. When I gave it gas, it responded quick and the power OMG. The computer for the fuel on my car was saying I was getting 21mpg and I was doing 80mph most of the way home.

A big thank you to Adam and the ST team :thumb: :bigbeer:

Nice numbers. What pulley are you running?

I have the 3.4 (10lb) pulley. Adam also said that if I went to the 62mm TB that I would make around 465hp. One day after I get the motor rebuilt, then I would get it.

Pfffttt... It's already gone faster with the blue bumper back on it than it did sporting that boring silver one. :moon:
