Im running 127300 cams and went with a blower instead of the N/A thing! I know these cams are blower friendly but would I gain any strip performance with a blower grind? My heads are CNC fox lake

Current cam specs are LCA 115.5, Intake center line 101 lift .490/.480 Duration @.050 222/235

Looking at SPR 127450 comps specs are LCA 113, Intake centerline 102 lift is .535/.555 and duration @.050 is 229/240...........These have a nice Idle which I want but would they be worth it? More a street car than a race car. Run it once a month or so for the fun of it!

SPR 127550s arent totaly out of the question and would love to hear a sound clip aat idle of either of these cams if anyone has them.

Thanks for all the help in advance, All my build decisions have come from you guys experiences and advice!

Subscribing.

I have a set of 127300 going into a 5.4L which some day will have a blower (yeah right).

True statement but it would be a waste if there is no performnce gain in the swap! Seems most really like the 127300 for street/strip performace!
I just love the short answers with no information.

Your already pushing it power wise. Invest the money in a built block.

Btw I have the same cams. With 9:1 compression at 12lbs Im making 540rwhp so the cams are def helping there. I considered a turbo grind to optimize my setup. But I have a built block and can just turn up the boost 1-2lbs and get the same gain so its not worth it for me since I already have cams/springs. Now if i had stock cams still i would have considered the turbo grinds a little more.

I would just keep the 300's, without a built block, you are gonna be pushing the limits with a big cam, and only moving 1 stage is pointless for the money you will be spending.
