I wonder...
Could the carbon traces on your footpedal be suspect at this point?
I think so.
I don't understand can you explain. I'm ready to drive the thing into a brick wall.

Our cars have no cable. "Drive by wire" it's called. The pedal travels on a carbon strip to trasmit its position to the PCM. There is a post here that discusses a throttle lag (response) fix by taking the pedal apart and moving the copper strips or something similar to that. In the end the OP didn;t fair well in terms of the heckling if I remember right. NOt eveyone agreed with him here. A search and review of that lengthy thread would yeild a pretty good picture of what I am thinking about. I think you may want to swap out a pedal (new one perhaps) or take yours apart and check it out. I suggest this because of your description of your probem, the failed attempts to fix it and the possible oversite of this pedal control.
When you originally had your car tuned, you had the aftermarket CAI on it, right?
While I am 99% sure you did, the 1% in me made me ask that! I had a K&N on mine. Just for shits and giggles (knowing full well I would need a retune), I put on a Steeda unit. Holy shit did that thing run absolutely crazy and weird. Barely would idle.
After Manny re-tuned it for me with the Steeda in place, it ran great but had that bog in it that he datalogged and tweaked out as we made circle after circle through his parking lot onto the highway.
Hope this helps.
Mike
are you using diablo? if i tweak a tune more than twice it reads the tune on top of the tune and goes extremely lean. I have to reset my whole car and tuner to stock to get it to work
Thats what I had to do with my Diablo. It keeps reading the tune over the tune and not the original file. Reset the tool and car but make sure you have your tune saved on your computer
Sounds like the MAF meter to me.
