I'll be damned. I assume you will not be using another mmr pump. Are you doing something custom for oiling this go-around or just sticking to a stock pump?

This "O" ring special" is cut in the back of pumps by MMR (and now JDM)

I wouldn't compare MMR's machine work to JDM's o-ring machining process. Here is one of JDM's GT 500 oil pumps that has been machined for an o-ring groove. Notice JDM's o-ring is centered on the housing

looks like they leave more material also,by using a bigger o-ring

got it from FB performance:
(631) 242 - 0008 (In NY)
(800) 769 - 1118 (Out of State)

They also sell a nice adapter too, to adapt the Stock 5R55 or 3650 cross memeber to a 4R70w so you can use the stock cross member and have the right angle too.

So can we all agree this is another Fuck MMR thread =-/

no way Jose' just ask them they will tell you; "it must be my converter balloning and causing the thrust bearing to go forward and smacking the oil pump housing."
I would make the bastards at least give me a new oil pump but who the fuck would want it?
