I was happy today to find out my bogart wheels got here a day earlier than I anticipate. I was on my way to the tire shop to get the tires mounted. My car was running fine. I was cruising over the crest of a hill and then all of a sudden my rpm slowly started to drop. I pushed down on the gas pedal and nothing. The car didn't show any signs that anything was wrong, no warning lights no odd engine sounds. The car cranks over, but wont fire up now. It's sitting now at the dealership awaiting diagnosis. I was supposed to be getting it ready for a big race this weekend :S I had Comp Mutha Thumpr Cams installed a week ago, I hope those don't have anything to do with it.

the only tuning issue I had was the idle was really low anywhere from 800-500 and it would drop to 0 when I pushed the clutch in. I would usually build back up to 500 with the odd time that it would stall. It would always fir back up though and it would never do it while I was cruising. I've already emailed matt at bamachips hoping he can raise my rpm.

Well the dealership called. The tech said my car fired up right away and ran fine. They have no clue what had happened. The guy took it for a test drive and had no issues. It has spark and good fuel pressure from the pump. The fuel filter is well overdue to be changed, so I told them to go ahead and change it out. I don't think that would cause that though.

What fuel system do you have? Do you know what your idle timing advance is usually?
ISC Integrator air datalogged at any time? I had similar stalling issues when I went back to a stock TB, for no reason the timing would change instantly, causing the RPM to drop. No idea what would make the car think it needed to change timing like that....
no idle issues with my FRPP that i reinstalled last night.

I have a stock fuel system and stock throttle body. I have no clue what my idle timing advance is or how to datalog my ISC Intergrator. I'm N/A with every bolt on, but no head work, a stock bottom end and as stated above stock fuel system.

FYI - I had a similar issue last fall where the car just died on me while driving 35 MPH or so. Would not crank. Turns out it was a coil pack failed which took out the fuse for the ignition.

so did the fuse fix its self? cause his cranked right up once it made it to the dealership?

Really does sound like the inertia switch for the fuel pump to me. Definetly sounds fuel related though.

where I was coming from it wasnt very steep at all. It had half a tank of gas and I did check the MAF connector and for any other loose connections. I even reloaded my tune. The dealership wasn't able to find anything run, couldnt find any codes and passed all their inspections.
