Ok, as some of you may know, I have been installing my TVS over the last couple of weeks. Alongside that, I have also been fitting a set of Carmen's pulleys, along with a custom made 3.75" pulley for the blower, to keep my boost at around the 8lbs mark.
For those of you who have not had the pleasure of dealing with Carmen, let me tell you that this is one of the most helpful and knowledgeable people I have ever dealt with. His attention to detail and customer service is second to non, and nothing was too much trouble in making sure that the correct parts were supplied to do the job properly.
The parts came well wrapped and clearly marked, along with a set of idiot proof instructions, clearly set out with step by step photo's.
So, on with the install.

Carmen actually made me two of these, the other one has a Union Jack in the centre rather than the TVS logo. I'm still not sure which of the two to use.
Once again thank you to Carmen for an awesome job.

Contact info? Or do we have to join another damn site?

I forgot to mention that these pulleys are exactly half the weight of the stock items they replace. My set were custom made for my specific installion, so I don't know if what I paid would be relevant. Here's Carmen's contact details. If you email him he can give you a price for whatever your specific requirements are.

Andy, thanks for the business card! No more forums for me, I shot him an email.

His prices were damn good to fellas, here's the e-mail reply.

Thanks for your interest in my products.

The TVS pulley ( whatver size you require ) plus stainless steel hub, screws, washers, and install assistance tool is $230. Here is a link to a photo of this set.

The remaining pulleys from my main set would be $270. It includes the water pump pulley, tension arm pulley, two 3 1/2" idler pulleys, two 3" idler pulleys, plus billet retainers and stainless steel bolts. Here is a photo of the set. Please disregard the M90 blower pulley in this photo.

The Power steering pump pulley set consists of a two-piece pump pulley which has a stainless steel hub with an aluminum pulley attached with stainless steel hardware, plus the grooved idler pulley that mounts beside it, retainer, and stainless steel bolt. This set goes for $180 Here is a photo of this set. The design of the idler pulley on the right has been changed to match the pulley on the left.

The last item I have is the alternator cover with an engraving of your choice ( no trademarks ). This piece goes for $35.

Shipping would be between $20 - $25 via Fedex Ground ( 5 business days ). If you provided me with your ZIP, I can give you a more accurate cost. All my pulleys are in stock with the exception of the TVS blower pulley. These are strictly made to order. You would be looking at approx. 7 to 10 days from time of order.

If you have any more questions or would like to place an order, just let me know. I accept payment through Paypal.

Thanks,

Carmen

Hey guys. Thanks for the compliments on my pulleys. I am more of a lurker on this forum. I visit everyday, but rarely post. Andy's blower pulley is one of a kind at this point as he wanted something very safe as far as boost goes, until he goes forged.
His great photos really show the true lustre of my pulleys. Great build Andy, it looks awesome.

I make an 8-rib blower pulley for the TVS P51-B, but that is all as far as 8-ribs pulleys go.

By the way Carmen, that was me that asked about the pulleys for my twin turbo setup. Check your PM's on here.

Awesome. Weight loss AND bling. Now, has anyone tested/measured to see if that reduction in rotating mass has provided any sort of performance benefit? Faster revs or w/e?

I think if you did this for a power gain, you wouldn't be very happy. I'm happy with my purchase though, wasn't looking for or expecting a gain honestly.

Yeah, Ill do it anyway, weight loss is weight loss. But, I would think the same principle that applies to aluminum driveshafts applies here, albeit on a far smaller scale.
