Does ANYONE have a photo of an S197 rocking classics... a lot of people have seen it but I can't find a photo anywhere, and the CCW website is just a drag pack set up of the car launching... I'm looking for a photo of a street set of Classics...

PS: If you don't know what Classics are GTFO, you aren't baller enough to be in this thread.

I just creamed from those pics..

And Kuro, there's one dude who used to post around here a lot like a year ago or more that had them on his ride. Haven't seen him post in a while though, I'll try and remember his name..

What do I win?

These are 18x10, reportedly don't even come close to clearing big brakes (like anything else with a dish/lip for our cars)..don't know a thing about your car, but it's something to consider.

Sickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, good job. How'd you find that?

That fitment is horrible though... I think with some sidewall and a lower drop it would look sick.

It was posted in a wheel fitment thread for a 2011 by Vorshlag (autocross build). I also found it in an image search a while before that, but I forget what I was looking for. Only picture I've seen of a non-drag setup on an S197. That car I believe is autocrossed pretty heavily so for their priorities, geometry > stance, and they can only run something like a 265 tire, and use short tires to make up for tall gears..

These are more of a street version than some of the ones posted. When this car was on the cover of one of the magazines I think I remember the sizes being listed as 19X9.5 and 19X11.

Edit...I didn't look at the link alloy6ix posted. Looks to be the same wheel.

CCW custom makes those wheels. If one were to get them, you can be sure that the fitment and brake clearance would be just fine. I was DYING for a set of these on my 03 Cobra, and now I want these on my 09 GT but I am having the same issue as I did before, they're big $$$.

Yes, they're custom but I don't think the classics can be made to clear big brakes in the offsets for our cars; the concave center and split hoop design are two major factors working against it. Obviously I'd call and verify, but the guys at Vorshlag said they weren't even close to clearing in the configuration pictured.

God, I'm an idiot. There on GT500's pictured earlier in the thread which appear to still have their stock brakes, so apparently it IS possible. Self-facepalm.

I talked to the guys at CCW at SEMA about fitments, so I know I can get any size I want, plus when you talk to them you can work out deals...

I'm picking up a set of CCWs for sticker price, and not a DIME more.
