Personally, I think Ford took a step backward in the styling department with the GT500 compared to the Mustang GT.

I'll give you that one. The GT500's are really a waste of money. Buy an great GT (like Don and myself have done :thumb: Vista Blue) and build it up THE RIGHT WAY (like Don has done) and you can outperform the Shelby any old day. But that's no reason to defect to Dodge. Stick with the GT!

3 things really bug me about the car

1) The WEIGHT!!! My assumption is that it will be no corner carver.

2) Why no stick or limited slip till next year?

3) The interior is totally blah.

But I give them credit for making the car.

Overall it looks great. Seems like they were aiming for a slightly more Mature crowd or something. The mustang screams youth and fun. The challenger is more not speaking that so far to me.

Could you send me some pictures of your lite graphite interior??

FWIW...

My girlfriends dad just bought a wrecked srt8, straightened it out, cut off exhaust resonators, stripped pretty good ie ALL of trunk back seat speakers, carpet, insulation... Weight last night w/ 1/4 tank is 4007lbs at local truck stop.

Last weekend bone stock with radials 13.63, 2.3 60ft at 106mph
This week, about 300lbs lighter, Diablo canned 93 tune, and 20" Nitto drag radials.... Ill let ya'll know

I've added 4.56 gears, elec. water pump, line-lock, and battery in trunk just this week.
