Mark I was going over your build and the time frame. Seems like once the parts arrived things moved along fast.

Jan. 30- Started pulling inside apart and pull motor out

Feb. 10- Turbo parts started arriving

Mar. 16- Started building headers <-- this is actually when the turbo build started

April 20- Trans finally arrived to start on hot side

April 21- Up pipes done

April 23- Cold side in fender done

April 24- Down pipes started

April 27- Cold side on turbos done along with BOV

I know right now the up pipes are off the car to weld on the wastegates. Then I think all thats left for the turbo kit is the pipe from the intercooler to TB then off to the coaters.

Of course the motor needs to be pulled out, then assembled with your new heads and re-installed. Cage needs to be done correctly, rear end back from Curry, and everything put back together.

Yep - I've been really pleased with the progress. With the heads and rear coming tomorrow - things should be flying now. Hopefully be on the dyno in 10 days or so...:thumb:

Question, So how come you're planning on going pushrod next year, especially when you'll have barely finished such an impressive build?

Me 3!!! But Mark, seriously, don't be windowing my future long block!!

LOL

to 2Kanchoo - I just really want to race heads up and the rules are pretty biased against the S197. In fact, it is damn near impossible for me to be able to run a modular S197 under the rules of just about every heads up class out there.

Our weight is a big disadvantage and most of the DR classes have stern rules preventing then from being a contenders. I also got a great deal on a motor. I actually was going to try to do it on a 3V as was going to partner up with livernois next year but then Dan Saitz's motor came along and all that went out the window. It just made sense and it is a BEAUTIFUL motor...

I don't think there's too many worries now that I'll be staying on the stock computer. If I went standalone on the 3V - then you may have been in trouble cause the motor was the weak link but now that I'm staying on the computer, I don't think it's going to have any problems...:beerdrink:

Looking at it though I'm kind of wondering how you guys are going to fix the radiator in there.
