Anyone in here know if the manifold can be disassembled to clean? Whats the best way to clean if it cant be disassembled? Im doing my rebuild ATM and the missing piece of piston was never found so Im guessing it went out the exhaust since I drove the car 1k miles after the damage occurred to the piston. I don't think theres any metal in there but refuse to take chances....any help is appreciated fellas

Probably blew the piston piece out of the exhaust…It's a tunnel ram intake, shake it, if something is in it, it'll fall out.

I filled mine with a water/soap solution several times and sloshed it around. Got a few pieces of metal out when I did it and felt good that I got it all.

I've taken mine apart to be re-sealed and cleaned. I have pics somewhere too. Mine is a 1st gen FRPP. The 2nd gen is just glued together, so i dont know if prying it apart is a hawt idea or not. If its a 1st gen it comes apart easy enough.
