closed vs open hood dyno/tuning

During one of my tuning sessions we ran hood closed for a few runs and found zero notable differences. 3 pulls open, 3 pulls closed were all within 5 hp. We didn't log IAT's though, which I'll bet were effected at least a little. This was on my Procharged setup.

And I agree, there's no way you can simulate real world driving on the dyno. The load, wind resistance, and volume of air will all be very different.
