hello there
my 2005 Mustang the clutch master cylinder has a play. I have included a video to explain what my situation is. My clutch master cylinder itself is not leaking and it's working properly. the ring that is attached to the end of it where it gets connected to the clutch pedal, I believe over the years it's gotten loose where the ring got bigger and now it has a play. instead of replacing the whole clutch master cylinder I'm thinking of shimming the hole with maybe metal bushing or something
any recommendation on fixing this cheaply? I've also saw some steel rings that are on Amazon that people cut it cut off this plastic and then replace it with. Should I go with that route? any good ideas that can work easily? thank you very much.
